It's the MOST wonderful time of the year!!!...Well, kindof...Almost the most wonderful time of the year I should say!!!...Yep, in almost exactly 3 months Santa will be loading up his sleigh and getting ready to pay all the good little boys and good little girls of the world a special visit (you know who you are if you're on the nice list, and you especially know who you are if you're on the NAUGHTY list!!!)...And while I could be sitting around in my super cute flannel jammies, sipping on some yummy-in-the-tummy hot cocoa (even though it is still in the upper 80s around these here parts!) speculating which list I'm on this year, I just don't have the time because it's work, work, work, work as usual for me, now moreso than ever!...Perhaps Santa could spare a few of his elves for me, whattaya think???...Well, no, nevermind, I'll be A-Okay...I've done it year after year without the little guys, so what's one more year to add to the mix?...So, as I prepare to kick off yet another fabulous Christmas season for EPJ Photography, your job is quite simple: give me a call or shoot me an email to book your personal mini-session and then I'll do the rest!!!...It can't get any easier for you!...Your holiday session is all inclusive this year, and you, that's right YOU, set the date!...We know that once Fall arrives, people's schedules get super-dee-duper busy, so although I will be announcing a select few mini-session dates in the coming days (and those will go quickly!), I know that a set schedule like that doesn't always fit everyone's calendar so perfectly...So, to help you out, all photo sessions booked for the months of October & November are going to be "Merry Minis" (*newborn & maternity are the only exception)...What's a "Merry Mini" you ask???...Well, let me tell you 'cause you're going to LOVE-a-dove-dove it!!!...You get a fantastical personal mini-session, oodles of various prints for gift giving galore, your own collection of the highest quality custom holiday cards anywhere out there AND on top of all that, you get a pretty spectacular discount off of any additional orders from your session!...MERRY CHRISTMAS from EPJ Photography to you!!!...In the coming days, be on the lookout for just a few absolutely beautiful samples from our 2009 custom holiday card line, as well as one or two (maybe three!) dates for our limited edition holiday minis, and lots and lots of other fabulous holiday specials from me to you as we kick off the wonderful Christmas Season of '09!!!...Ho ho ho and to all a good night ;)...See y'all again real soon...-EPJ {click on image to enlarge}

Well, I must say, there's nothing better than a visit from a beautiful baby to help make a yucky, gloomy weekend seem all better :)...Yesterday's session was planned weeks, if not months in advance, and mommy, daddy and sweet baby L drove all the way from NC to see me (well, and also to see their entire family and celebrate L's big baptism weekend!)...However, all that planning and the only thing mommy and I didn't take into account was rain, rain, rain alllllllll day long...So, unfortunately we didn't get to spend as much time outside as we would've liked, but thank heavens for the studio to keep us happy and dry...So we played a little, went home and napped and ate a little, and then came back for round two!...All in all, it was a full and fun day and for being only six months old, baby L handled himself like a true seasoned pro!...So, you know the drill now, just a little tease to hold everyone over until all the proofs are ready in the coming days, and believe me, there's going to be a LOT!!!...I had a near impossible time picking just five for today's post because I already have so many favorites!!!...So, I hope you all enjoy today's little peek, and I especially hope y'all enjoy L's big day today, and of course, I'll be back again soon with more!...-EPJ

Ok, so whaddaya get when you mix a super-dee-duper gorgeous new mommy who doesn't even come close to resembling someone who just gave birth, a new daddy who giggles when his baby girl christens him all over his lap, and a two week old perfect little angel who sleeps for 3 solid hours and never fusses even once???...A perfect day in this photographer's eyes!!!...And did I even mention that mommy brought along the most precious little hat that I've ever seen ever, ever, ever?!?!...I'm totally on my way to buy the store out of every size, shape and color, because this hat is just too precious for words...Of course, it doesn't hurt one bit that little Miss A, is also absolutely too precious for words (looking like her momma's little mini-me!)...So, all in all, I'd say we had a GRRRREAT day!...And I just can't wait one second longer to show off Miss A to her mommy and daddy and family and friends...So, here y'all go!...Enjoy and I'll be back with more very soon!!!...-EPJ

OH MY GOODNESS GRACIOUS!!!...Babies, babies, babies!!!...I simply adore my "work" days when delicious little newbies come in to see me, and today must have been my lucky day because little Miss A dropped by on her two week birthday to pay me a special visit!!!...Ohhhhhh, and what a good, sweet, happy, precious little girl she is, too!!!...So awake and alert and full of yummy, sweet smiles (and let's not forget that gorgeous head full of beautiful dark hair, too!!!)...I had such a good time playing with Miss A and her mommy and daddy this morning, and I'm excited to show off just a teensy little tease tonight of a few of my most favorites...It was hard to narrow it down, as it usually is for me, so remember, there's going to be bunches more to come very, very soon!!!...Have a wonderful and safe and happy holiday weekend everyone and I'll see you all again soon with more!...-EPJ

Hands down, the greatest weather day ever, ever, ever!...And boy, did we deserve it, too!...I always hate having to reschedule a session due to impending bad weather, but as we all know, living in Alabama just unfortunately means that occasionally, the weather wins out and the session gets pushed back...So, after four or so days of rain, rain, rain, the sun finally came out to grace us with it's presence today, along with one or two pretty white clouds just to look nice in the background, and the world's most perfect temperature ever...I couldn't have asked for better...Oh, no wait, I almost forgot...So, on top of all that sheer perfection, I had the pleasure of meeting up with this GORGEOUS family of four (and a half!) that I could have just stayed with and shot for hours on end (although, I'm pretty sure that after awhile they were glad to get home and away from crazy picture lady!)...I had just the greatest time with y'all R & T, and there were sooooo many shots that I wanted to preview on the blog tonight for you, but, of course, I had to narrow it down just a wee bit and not go too overboard!...So, without further ado, I present you with a couple of my favs and believe me, there are LOTS more to come...See y'all again soon!!!...-EPJ

Hey guys!...This is going to be a super quick post because, even though my day started out simply amazing, and I got to drive over the the Ham :) and meet up with this super-sweet little chunky monkey this morning, by the time I got back and picked all my girls up and headed home, I realized that my littlest princess is sick, sick, sick...So, seeing as how she's been nursing a temperature just shy of 102 :( ,I haven't been able to get much done with her sprawled out in my lap the last few hours of the day...I apologize for not having more of a sneak peek, but believe me, it was actually hard to pick just these three because there are so many of Miss P that are too precious for words!...So, hope you all enjoy and I also want wish little P the very happiest of happy 1st birthdays this week and of course, I'll be back again soon with more...Have a great week everybody!!!...-EPJ

Well, ladies and gentleman and boys and girls, I am plumb tuckered out as they say!...Between school starting recently for my three little ones and playing catch-up with work, I have done worn myself out ;) ...Luckily for me, my handsome little friend, T-man, came to visit me again this afternoon and brought along a little energy boost for us all: BIRTHDAY CAKE!!!...Ok, well, to be fair, he did get most of it, but every now and then he'd toss a few crumbs my way or wipe a little icing on my camera if I got too close, so of course I had to give it a little taste and boy was it YUMMY!...No wonder he was diggin' in from head to toe!...So, here's a teensy preview (a little before, during and after cake action!) for mommy and the rest of the gang to check out, meanwhile, I'm going to go peak in on my littlest baby who's sleeping tonight in a big girl bed for the very first time ever {{{sniffle, sniffle}}}, then this momma is officially hitting the sack for some well deserved shut-eye!...Night-night my dear friends and sweet dreams to you all...See y'all again soon!...-EPJ
